Navigational aids:
Dabki lies approximately 4.33 miles WSW of Darlowo Lighthouse
(54°26.5'N, 16°22.9'E). The coast consists of low sand dunes,
behind the sand dunes there is a Lake Bukowo with shallow entrance
from the sea and behind the lake are wooded sprus from the hills. |

General information:
Dabki is a small fishing village and summer resort situated on the
central part of the Polish Baltic seaside and also lies on the
north-east bank of Lake Bukowo (area 1745 ha and depths up to 3 m).
Fine sandy sea beach is separated from the lake be-ach by a belt of
pine forest. Two miles south west of the village there is short shallow
channel connecting the sea with the lake. Local fishermen catch in the
sea mainly cod, flounder and salmonides and in the lake bream,
pike-perch and eel. There is a harbour for visiting yachts. |
