Schottel controllable-pitch propellers are propulsion systems that can be used with almost any type of vessel. The
power spectrum ranges from 600 kW to 30,000 kW, with propeller sizes varying between
approximately 1.5 to 8.0 metres.

Type K/KG
Compact design for the lower output range, with fixed standard reduction ratio in the bevel gear
unit. Should due to the use of high-speed main engines a greater ratio be required, we can also
supply an intermediate gear unit to be integrated into the shafting. This gear unit is connected
to the propeller oil circuit.
